Fulfilling the Great Commission

Join This HeartCry Prayer- Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11.30am-1.30pm (UK Time)

Living only for Jesus Christ is the first conviction to have and to sustain in order to please God and fulfill the Great Commission.

Luke 1:74-75
To grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.

What is your understanding of the reason you were born and now born-again?
Is your life according to pattern stated by this Scripture?

Prayers:
  • Settle it in my heart now that I was rescued from the hand of my enemies in order to be released to serve JESUS without fear; with ALL my life and without restrain.
  • Open my understanding to know and walk in the fullness of YOUR will for my life, which is to serve Christ in holiness and righteousness all the days of my life.
  • Help me to see that continuing to live unrighteously is to deny what Christ did for me at Calvary and to ignore the provision of such a FULL salvation.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15
"For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again."

What compels/controls and moves You? Your decisions? Your passion? Your time? What interest you?
Paul declared: “We are convinced….” Are you also convinced?

Prayers:
  • Lord, let Your Gospel work thoroughly in and through me; leaving behind an evacuated and de-cluttered life that is ONLY controlled and compelled by Christ’s love.
  • Luke 1:4  - Grant me grace to be rooted, certain, convinced, grounded and established on ALL the segments of the Gospel.
  • We allow the Gospel, having worked in us, to sever us from the lower nature's desire to continue to live for SELF. I will live for JESUS who died and was raised again for me.
  • Only JESUS and His love for humanity will control and compel me.

Philippians 1:20-21
"According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain."

Are you ashamed of the Gospel?
Are you always bold to declare Christ and Him crucified?
Are you resolved whether by life or death to live for Christ?

Revelation 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Prayers:
  • Please, Lord! Be magnified in my body whether by life or by death.
  • May You continually drink out of my life till You are satisfied and let my life bring You much pleasure.
  • Let it be also that our living is to and for Christ and dying gain.

John 1: 1 – 8 (KJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light that all men through him might believe.
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

**As witnesses of the work of God, who also are in the work of God (Kingdom Labour): we must ensure that God's Mind for His WORK is perfectly represented in our day-to-day lives through the light of His WORD– which is THE GOSPEL!

John 1:6 - There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

The Gospel remains God's but as His witness, I am expected to carry both THE MESSAGE and THE MISSION with Divine credentials.

Prayer:
  • Lord, help me to be fully attentive to both Your WORD and Your WORK in my life.
  • Let my life and labour REVIVE THE INTERESTS OF YOUR KINGDOM in my generation.
  • Let my sole aim in labouring for You be towards the revival of Your LIFE and Your LIGHT in the lives of others.
John 1:7 - The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

I am a LEADING-WITNESS and a TESTIMONY of The Light of The Gospel.
The Testimony of Christ must be confirmed in my labour (1 Cor 1:4-8)
I am a witness that is expected to keep THE GOSPEL up (Acts 14:16 -17) by calling the attention of others to The Light of the True Gospel.

Prayer:
  • Lord, please align my life with the reality of this divine partnership. Let me not break the connection of Heaven with my life for the sake of others.
  • Let my life break the silence between the sinful humanity and their CREATOR.
  • Lord, use my life to open the eyes of men, women and children to the GRACE that is embedded in their redemption from the beginning.

LET NOT MY LIFE BE SHUT TO THE MYSTERY OF THE GOSPEL.

John 1:8 - He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

As a witness, I MUST NOT be mistaken about the PERSON that I am witnessing – the focus must not be on me or on my labour at any given time, or in whatever capacity.
Let me always remember that the Kingdom Labour is not mine, I am only a witness of it.

MY GOSPEL IS A BORROWED GOSPEL..THE GOSPEL THROUGH ME IS SHINING THROUGH A BORROWED LIGHT!!!

Prayer:
  • Lord, please unite both my closet life and my public life; make both one in CHRIST so that my labour as a witness will achieve the interests of the Complete Gospel.
  • Help me to constantly remember that whatever You allow to shine through my labour is shinning through The Borrowed Light of the Gospel.
LET THE NATIONS AND PEOPLE RECEIVE ME AS YOUR WITNESS. LET THEM ALSO SEE THE GREATNESS OF YOUR WITNESS THROUGH THE MYSTERY OF THE GOSPEL (1 John 5:9).

John 1:1-8 (KJV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light that all men through him might believe.
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

**As witnesses of the work of God, who also are in the work of God, we are called to indicate both the physical and the spiritual MIND OF GOD correctly...God's mind for His Work must be perfectly represented in our bodies and spirits through the light of His Word – which is THE GOSPEL!

John 1:1- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

  • The Gospel has a BEING – I am to be a faithful witness of The PERSON of The Gospel in every aspects.
  • The Gospel (God's Word to me – Heb. 1:2) must tally with my word (my message) to others: I need the mind of Christ to do this (Phil 2:5).

Prayer:
  • Lord, please let my life be both the physical and the spiritual expressions of Your mind.
  • Open my eyes and understanding to the mystery of being called a witness of  the Gospel.
  • Make me a witness of Your Light and a voice of Your Word.
  • Enrapture me with the PERSON of the Gospel and make it evident in my kingdom labour.

John 1:2 - The same was in the beginning with God.
  • The Word (Christ) co-exists with God the Father (Heb. 1:3) from the very beginning and will remain till eternity – my labour must be found in Christ for it to be quickened by the Spirit of God and for it to be a lasting work for God.
  • My kingdom labour must be found in Christ in order to release the excellent glory of God. (2 Corinthians 3:10)
Prayer:
  • Lord, please let nothing break my communion with Christ. Keep me intact in Christ.
  • Let me be found exhibiting the Resurrected life in my labour at all times – nothing of me! LET THE RESSURECTION POWER QUICKEN MY WHOLE BEING.
  • Lord, please do not let the world around me destroy The WORD in me.
  • Cleanse my life and my labour of the infection of the notions of religion.

John 1:3 - All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
  • As a witness, I am a co-ordinate agent of The Light (The Work) of God.
  • I am to acquaint myself with the divine instructions and at the same time be active in it.
  • My witnessing must bear the qualification for my kingdom labour.
Prayer:
  • Lord, please fasten me to my position in Your Kingdom, and let me both be acquainted with my position and be active in my position as a witness to Your Work.
  • Lord, build me up quickly in Your Kingdom through the Gospel (Heb. 3:4), I do not want to be the one holding You and Your Work in ransom...Have Your choice in me, O Lord!
  • Open my life to the everlasting knowledge of my position as a witness, help me to work in the reality of it and do not allow my flesh to add to this knowledge.

John 1:4 - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

  • The Gospel has LIGHT and LIFE...my kingdom labour must become a life that will create light for others.
  • So also the Light shining through my labour in Christ for God MUST make great lights of other lives.
  • Witnessing daily in the Life and in the move of God (Acts 17:28), seeing my life as the Light of God for others (Prov. 20:27).

Prayer:
  • LORD, LET YOUR LIFE BE MY LIFE AND YOUR LIGHT BE MY LIGHT IN MY WALK WITH YOU.
  • LORD, LET ME EXPERIENCE THE MERCY AND THE TRUTH THAT PRESERVE YOUR LIGHT IN MY LIFE AND LABOUR

John 1:5 - And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
  • The Light of God (The Gospel) bears the evidence of itself. As a witness of The Gospel, my labour must bear this evidence correctly.
  • My labour must actively mediate between those in darkness and the light of The Gospel
 Prayer:
  • Lord, please do not give up on me. Release Your active power into my labour.
  • Let both my life and my labour rectify errors, and also improve the Truth of the Gospel in the lives of others.
  • Make me a true witness that is capable of mediating between Your Light and the darkness in the lives of others.

John 1:6 - There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
  • The Gospel remains God's but as His witness, I am expected to carry both THE MESSAGE and THE MISSION with Divine credentials

Bringing Forth after My Kind (God's Kind).

Join this HeartCry Prayer- Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11.30am-1.30pm (UK time)

Genesis 1:1-5, 11-12, 20-28 (KJV)

1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Verse 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good

Verse 20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

From the verses above, the following words keeps jumping out while the Lord was creating things. They are:

Bring forth
    subdue it
In our image
Be fruitful
After his kind
multiply
God saw that
it was good
whose seed
is in itself
Brought
forth
After our
likeness
In his own
image etc.

Everything on earth produces after his kind that is the seed in them. We reproduce:

 Physically
(children)
Spiritually  (Soul winning)
       Life (spiritual or carnal)
  knowledge
Disciples
Talents
 Wealth
career etc

These are all done through seeds after our kind. Our attitude to work or what is committed into our hands is done depending on the seed in us. If we are lazy it is a seed, if we have nonchalant attitude it is a seed. Every output of things we see in our life / what we do is as a result of the seed in us.

The content of our lives / image can be seen from the following:

  •  Fruit we bear:  16 You shall know them by their fruits not fruit  Matthew 7:15-20.
  • How we think: 7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee Proverbs 23:7.
  • Where / what we are sowing:  7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:7-9 (KJV) .
  • How we hear: A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: Proverbs 1:5(KJV)
  • Mark 4:24 (AMP) 24 Then He said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear. By your own standard of measurement [that is, to the extent that you study spiritual truth and apply godly wisdom] it will be measured to you [and you will be given even greater ability to respond]—and more will be given to you besides.

But to get the blessing of God of fruitfulness, multiplication and Dominionship as a Kingdom labourer in our day to day activities where ever we are planted or in whatever we do depend on what seed is reproducing in us.

Not until things where created after their kind that is the way God wanted them to be that God blessed them to be fruitful, multiply, fill and replenish the earth. There is a kind of reproduction God expects from all His children in everything they do.

As Kingdom Labourers in the Lord’s vineyard engaged in one service or the other which could be at home with our children, in the house of God, at our places of work etc I see a question coming up here and the question is, what I want God to bless, is it after my own image or God’s own image in me? Is it after my kind or God’s kind?

From verses 22 and 28 of Genesis chapter 1, the things God blessed are the ones He has seen to be good according to His standard. Therefore the things He will make to be fruitful, multiply, fill and replenish the earth in my life are the things He has seen to be after His image which is good.

Am I bringing forth in the image and likeness of God in my service to Him? The things He has committed into my hands to handle are they after my kind or God’s kind in me?

My kind can be, Laziness, self-centredness, Luke warmness, hard working etc to mention but a few. I see the Lord challenging us today on the fact that we can only bring forth after our kind. We can only produce from the seed we have in us and for God to bless whatever labour we are engaged in as Kingdom Labourers , we have to start reproducing after God’s kind in us.

Job 38:12-15 (ERV) 12 “Did you ever in your life command the morning to begin or the day to dawn? 13 Did you ever tell the morning light to grab the earth and shake those who are evil out of their hiding places? 14 The morning light makes the hills and valleys easy to see. When the daylight comes to the earth, the shapes of these places stand out like the folds of a coat. They take shape like soft clay that is pressed with a stamp. 15 Evil people don’t like the daylight. When it shines bright, it keeps them from doing the bad things they do.

Therefore we want to pray and ask God for help against the stumbling blocks that are preventing us from getting the blessings of God on our labour.
It was when God separated the light from the darkness that He was able to make a pronouncement of the things He wanted and He saw that it was good when the separation had been done.

Taking counsel from Genesis chapter1:1-5 and Job 38:12-15 there are things we have to do daily before we can Bring forth after our kind (God’s kind in us).

We want to command the following daily:

        our lives
      our Businesses
        our careers
       our labour
      our calling / ministry
      our spouses’ lives
      our children’s lives
        our spiritual growth etc

Prayers:
  • Lord I thank you for Your truth which has come to me again.
  • I thank You for Your counsel to me to command my mornings to begin / my day to dawn daily so that Your kind can be produced in me. Please accept my thanks in Jesus name.
  • I bring (insert one of the above) before You today as a kingdom labourer; Spirit of God move over my life and separate light from darkness in Jesus name.
  • Let everything that will come forth from me be according to Your image in me so that my labour can be good in Your sight and be blessed by You in Jesus name.
  • Let Your morning light make the hills and valleys easy for me to see in Jesus name.
  • Let Your daylight come upon my earth and give it shape just like it was at the beginning and let the labour of my hands be blessed and begin to stand out in Jesus Name.
  • Let there be Light in my affairs from today as I command my mornings in Jesus name.

The Journey to Becoming Like Jesus: Our Goal and Final Destination

Join this HeartCry Prayer- Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11.30am-1.30pm (UK time)

Root of Sin: PRIDE, SELF WILL, REBELLION AND LYING
Romans 8:29 New American Standard Bible (NASB) For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;

Please watch the message titled:
"Jesus came to remove the root of sin" by Bro. Zac Poonen.

Gleanings from the message:

Matthew 3:10 (NASB)  The axe is already laid at the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
The law in the Old Testament only prevented people from sinning on the outside but did not deal with the root of sin which lay on the inside. From the Day of Pentecost, the axe has been laid to the root of sin. The root of sin first came when an angel fell and became Satan.
Ezekiel 28:12 (NASB) Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “You had the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
Ezekiel 28:17 (NASB)  Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you.
Isaiah 14:13 (NASB) But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north.
PRIDE:  An angel became proud of what he did not create (Beauty, wisdom and position). Pride in the heart, inward pride, all sins begins in the heart.
Isaiah 14:14 (NASB) Satan said, ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’
John 6:38 (NASB) Jesus said, For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
SELF WILL: The desire to want your will done at all time.
1 Samuel 15:23 (NASB) “For rebellion is as the sin of divination (witchcraft KJV), And insubordination (stubbornness KJV) is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has also rejected you from being king.”
REBELLION: Rebellion against any authority / God’s delegates here on earth. Stubbornly sticking to your will. When God says something / gives an instruction and you don’t do it.

Who are God’s Authority on Earth?

All Men:
Titus 3:1-2 (NASB) Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed, to malign no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing every consideration for all men.

Your Father and Mother:

Ephesians 6:2 (NASB) HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise).

Governing Authorities, Your boss in the office etc:
Romans 13:1-6 (NASB) Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same; for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil. For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.

LYING: John 8:44 (NASB) You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Lying was the first sin mentioned in the Bible. Genesis 3:4 (NASB) The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die!
Lying was the first sin God judged in the church. Acts 5:3 (NASB) But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land?
Lying was the last sin mentioned in the Bible. Revelation 22:15 (NASB) Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.
Lying is not just what we say with our mouth, but what we convey or the impression we give.
It is dishonesty.
It is covering things up.
It is giving wrong impression to people. Exodus 32:24 (NASB) I said to them, ‘Whoever has any gold, let them tear it off.’ So they gave it to me, and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf.”
Please use the hymn below for your prayers.
Hebrews 4:16 (NASB) Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

1. My faith looks up to thee,
thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
take all my guilt away,
O let me from this day
be wholly thine!

2. May thy rich grace impart
strength to my fainting heart,
my zeal inspire!
As thou hast died for me,
O may my love to thee
pure, warm, and changeless be,
a living fire!

3. While life's dark maze I tread,
and griefs around me spread,
be thou my guide;
bid darkness turn to day,
wipe sorrow's tears away,
nor let me ever stray
from thee aside.

4. When ends life's transient dream,
when death's cold, sullen stream
shall o'er me roll;
blest Savior, then in love,
fear and distrust remove;
O bear me safe above,
a ransomed soul!

Providing A Womb For The Master

Join this HeartCry Prayer - Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11:30am - 1:30pm (UK time)

Gleanings from 1 Samuel 1, 3 & 7

  • The Lord is not looking for just one Samuel anymore. Now He is preparing the ‘rods of His strength’ to go forth out of Zion. (Ps 110)
  • He is waiting for that womb (heart) to be given totally over and avowed to Him and His kingdom’s cause.
  • He is waiting for one who will not be pacified by temporal things.
  • He is looking for one who has had enough of the status quo.
  • He is looking for the one who will rise up/stand up and do something differently.
  • He is looking for one who has come to end of themselves and is changing gear to another level of consecration.
  • He is looking one who is so desperate that they don’t mind being misunderstood by others.
  • He is looking for one who will sow all they have received from Him as a seed for revival in their days

Heart Cry Prayers

9 Once when they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh, Hannah stood up. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his chair by the doorpost of the Lord’s house. 10 In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. 11 And she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.” 1 Sam 1:9-11

  • Lord, whatever it was that You did in Hannah’s heart, please do it in mine too. Bring me to the point of standing up and taking whatever deliberate action I need to take now.
  • Lord, bring me to the place where I am ready to make a vow to You and help me to keep it.
  • Lord, use the anguish of my soul to bring my prayer life in line with Your will.

12 As she kept on praying to the Lord, Eli observed her mouth. 13 Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk 14 and said to her, “How long are you going to stay drunk? Put away your wine.” 15 “Not so, my lord,” Hannah replied, “I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the Lord. 16 Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief.” 1 Samuel 1:12-16
  • Lord, help me in these days to pray deep heartfelt, non-superficial prayer by the help of Your Spirit. Let the depth of sorrow for my dead works turn into prayer from the heart in me
  • Please Lord, don’t let me be distracted or affected by people’s misunderstanding of my desperate condition
  • Take me to another level in my prayer life.

17 Eli answered, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.” 18 She said, “May your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast. 19 Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the Lord and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah made love to his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered her. 20 So in the course of time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, “Because I asked the Lord for him.”  1 Samuel 1:17-20
  • Lord, as I am sitting with You in these days, bring me to the point when I know beyond a shadow of doubt that You have heard me and it is done.
  • Ps 126:5-6; Matt 5:4 – Lord, cause me, having sowed in tears, to reap in joy and having mourned my dead works, to be know the comfort You promised.

1 The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions.  19 The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground. 20 And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba recognized that Samuel was attested as a prophet of the Lord. 21 The Lord continued to appear at Shiloh, and there he revealed himself to Samuel through his word.  1 Samuel 3:1 & 19-21
  • Lord, I know You are coming again in our days. Let me be a vessel, a channel, a womb that You will use to make Your coming a certainty.
  • Let Your life in me produce that which needs to be sowed into the chaos and darkness of our day
  • Lord, show me my part in Your end time revival, don’t let me miss that specific work You have prepared for me to do for You (Eph 2:10). Lord, in these days of my decluttering, prepare me and make me fit and ready for Your use.

15 Samuel continued as Israel’s leader all the days of his life. 16 From year to year he went on a circuit from Bethel to Gilgal to Mizpah, judging Israel in all those places. 17 But he always went back to Ramah, where his home was, and there he also held court for Israel. And he built an altar there to the Lord. 1 Samuel 7:15-17

  • It’s interesting to know that despite Shiloh being the recognised place of worship in his day and the place where he was brought up in ministry, Samuel always returned home to Ramah. It was the place where he was nurtured and weaned by Hannah, the place of his real spiritual roots. Ramah, his home town was a spiritual reference point for Samuel because of the input of his mother Hannah.

  • Lord, prepare me to be an incubator for You. Let the works You will do in & through me be a reference point, a place where Your name is recorded and remembered.
How I Praise Thee, Precious Savior

1.    How I praise Thee, precious Savior,
That Thy love laid hold of me;
Thou hast saved and cleansed and filled me
That I might Thy channel be.

Refrain:
Channels only, blessed Master,
But with all Thy wondrous pow’r
Flowing through us, Thou canst use us
Every day and every hour.
2.    Just a channel full of blessing,
To the thirsty hearts around;
To tell out Thy full salvation,
All Thy loving message sound.
3.    Emptied that Thou shouldest fill me,
A clean vessel in Thy hand;
With no pow’r but as Thou givest
Graciously with each command.
4.    Witnessing Thy pow’r to save me,
Setting free from self and sin;
Thou who bought me to possess me,
In Thy fullness, Lord, come in.
5.    Jesus, fill now with Thy Spirit
Hearts that full surrender know;
That the streams of living water
From our inner self may flow.
