1 Corinthians 9:15-23 (KJV, TLB, NIV)
If Jesus Christ has not dominated the virtual world and remains viral, it should not be for lack of platform but for lack of correct kingdom labourers on the Cyber world field.
Reclaiming the virtual platform back for God’s purpose is a small thing; God’s lamentation is for lack of disciples indeed.
Vs. 16 For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me {I am compelled to preach; I couldn’t keep from preaching if I wanted to} ; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!
- Has it occurred to you that you are indebted to Christ forever?
- What ever you are or have was received from the Lord. What are you boasting about? There is nothing to boast about- not self, not wisdom, not strength, not even talents.
- Has it dawned on your heart that necessity is laid upon you?
- Is your heart compelled to preach the Gospel?
- Are you in a place in God where your heart is saying- “Woe is me if I do not preach the gospel”?
Is the Lord raising issues on your heart regarding any of the above…. ? pls pray into this now.
Vs. 17b …I am simply discharging the trust committed to me.
- Can God trust you to discharge the Gospel?
- Can God commit lives to your care?
- Will men keep troping into hell for lack of kingdom labourers even on the Cyberworld?
Please pray into this. Lord remove from me all that makes me not trustworthy.
Vs. 18 Are you sowing or selling the Gospel ?
- Are you abusing your authority in the Gospel? Remember! DO NOT TOUCH HIS GLORY!
- What are you sowing or selling? Is it Self? promoting your ambition or propagating Christ and Him Crucified?
- Why do you want to make the Cross of Christ of nil effect by advertising self?
Vs. 19 Are you reflecting this virtue of Christ inside Brother Paul?
- Lord make me though free to be willing to become a servant to ALL that I might win the more.
- Make me willing to freely and happily adapt in order that more SONS be added to glory.
- Phil. 2:6 Help me follow the example of JESUS who did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage.
Vs. 20-22
- Help me be willing, whether a computer illiterate/literate/mogul to become all things in order to fish for men.
- Willingly give up whatever everything I did to promote self, man or organisation on the virtual platforms so as to sow the Gospel to mankind.
Vs. 23
- Help us be willing, adaptable and available to become partakers of the blessing of seeing men rooted inside Christ.
- Cause my heart to see and know that there is no joy/reward greater than seeing mankind grounded and established in Christ. Let this labour and reward be sufficient for me.
