- Front-man was Goliath.
- Goliath’s lament - "Choose you a man. Let him come down to me. Give me a man, that we may fight together."

Who Shall Go For Us? A look at David
- That I was born and born again now is not arbitrary.
- Are you God’s answer to the lamentation of Goliath?
- He was the youngest of eight sons.
- He was not enlisted among the army of Saul.
- He simply tended his father’s sheep.
- Occasionally, he was Saul’s armour bearer and he skilfully played the harp to refresh Saul when tormented by an evil spirit.

- Testimonies of the Lord’s deliverance Vs. 37.
- Cunning in playing; a mighty valiant man; a man of war; prudent in matters, a comely person and the LORD is with him. 1 Samuel 16:18.
- The grace and gifts of God are not for sale.
David Sent Forth Out of Zion
- It came simply in the form of errand - "... look how thy brethren fare." 1 Samuel 17:18.
- David was God’s front-man for Israel.
- He killed a man of war without a sword. Every experience of life that God passed David through culminated into this cheap victory.
Prayer Points
- Grant my heart understanding that my night season has expired and that the Day has broken on me.
- Esther 4:14 "For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
- I will make haste in my being emptied of dead works so that my life is poured out for the purpose of divine kingdom enlargement and the deliverance of humanity back to God. This is why I was born at such a time as this!
- Isaiah 41:15 Make me Your new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: Use me to thresh all the Goliaths and Philistines plaguing our generation.
- Holy Spirit, make me so that I can also front for JESUS. Lord, sever me from the lineage of Eve so that I am adopted and grafted into Christ; emptied of all dead works and filled with the Holy Spirit.
- Make me sensitive and discerning so I never despise or belittle any training ground or hands through whom God designs to mould and make me. Even if its in obscurity; or appears to have no correlation with my destiny and destination in Christ.
- Keep me in the quarry site and incubate on me until Your very life crystallises in me.
- As I daily walk with the Lord, may I in the same manner be sent out of Zion as the Rod of God’s strength to rule in the midst of darkness. Psalm 110:2
- Enlist me Lord, as Your end time army. It is only there that I can step into all the good works pre-ordained for my life. Every victory is the Lord’s victory. My life finds meaning and death is simply a transition into glory.
- Sever me, Lord, from any army I have enlisted myself into. Where my labour is unto nothingness; where at best, all I gain is the empty applause of man and a crown made by hands instead of the crown of life; where my death is not unto glory.
