John 15:1-10 (KJV)
John 14:15
John 15:14

Ø   “Abide” in Christ:  To remain inside, to be able to stand, to be able to live with, to continue...  You cannot abide with someone you cannot stand.
Ø    In John 15:1-10  the word “abide” appears nine times and bearing fruit five times. This shows  the emphasis our Lord Jesus placed on the two words.
Ø    To bear fruit, we must abide in Christ.
Ø    For our foundation to be rid of what does not look like Christ, we must abide in Christ.
Ø    For us not to love the world or the things inside it, we must abide in Christ.
Ø    To bear more fruit, Christ will prune us.
Ø    The Lord will only concentrate on those abiding in Christ.
Ø    The Lord in His mercy is granting us divine concentration and He has warned us this will not be forever. This concentration can involve hardship, lack and suffering

PRAYER POINTS
Ø Thank God for concentrating on us and exposing us to the truth.
Ø Ask God to continue to concentrate on us.
Ø Thank God for taking us out of the crowd to concentrate on us

Ø Lord, sit on me as a refiner and purifier of silver. Purge me as gold and silver that I may offer to you an offering in righteousness. Malachi 3:3

Ø Lord, let me be an obedient kingdom labourer who will obey your commandments  always..

Ø Lord, let me make the most of every opportunity you are bringing my way.
Ø Help me to remain in you and let me follow through my discipleship process.

Ø Do not let me be a truant.
Ø Let me endure hardship as a good soldier of Christ, not entangling myself with the affairs of this world. 2 Timothy 2:3-4

Ø Restate the full gospel in my life so that I can be a workman who  rightly divides Your word 2 Timothy 2:15
